Notifications in TouchOne 0.2.2a

TouchOne looks for specific types of shortcuts to enable notifications on them. Unfortunately alot of custom Roms do not have these and the only version of Windows Mobile that has them is 6.5.

TouchOne 0.2.3a will automatically make these shortcuts for you if they do not exist. But the new version will not be out for some time, due to the new widgets that are being added.

In the meantime, here are some links to the shrotcuts to do this:

http://www.dehx.net/shortcuts/E-Mail.lnk

http://www.dehx.net/shortcuts/Phone.lnk

http://www.dehx.net/shortcuts/Text.lnk

(Right-Click on the links and do a save-as)

Copy these LNK link files to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder on your phone, and soft reset, or restart TouchOne.

just installed on HTC Touch 2 works great apart from picking up the weather. Would it be possible to change the number of pages available on home screen as it will make it more user friendly.
Excellent job, what you have done here I think HTC could learn somthing.

Does not have problem with fullscreen WMP that happen on WM6.5. But seeing problem with cab file installation only, most of the time during installation of a cab file, it suddenly jump back to TouchOne interface, unable to see if the installation successful or not. Have to manually kill the installation process by guessing if the installation completed or not. Switched back to TouchFLO, and does not seeing the issue ever.

    Hi,
after some weeks of “trying”, I just removed T1 ;-(
Here’s my list of bugs, which I did not have the time to investigate in detail – for now:
    - I do not have the settings button on the bottom
    - If I scroll to the setting screen (below the home screen), it look very different to the screen shots
    - I had to adjust the settings after every reboot (background, weather location, interval)
    - for some days I could not connect using GPRS – a reboot solved the problem
    - but now it connects like crazy, every 15-30 minutes, for 3:01 minutes (according to my provider) for no apparent reason. I have a time-volume plan, so this is not good.
    - the weather interval does not work correctly, it changes as it likes, e.g. I changed to 720, later it is 60. I changed again, some time later it is 15 (that may cause the many connections).

I have T-Mobile MDA compact III (HTC Artemis/P3300), running Windows Mobile 6.1
    I tried the 0.2.2a

I may come back later, either when the problems are fixed, or I have the time to dive deeper into them by myself.
    Thanks for the “try”.

    Cheers, HK.

When I tried fullscreen windows, it goes back to TouchOne interface. When I tried Settings > System > Backlight, it goes to TouchOne Interface. When I tried Settings > System > Device Information, it goes to TouchOne interface. My version is WM6.5 Prof.

Hmmm. that is very odd. TouchOne should, and does not interfere with other applications. What happens when you try to fulscreen windows Media player? Does it go back to the TouchOne interface, or does it force Media player back to a normal sized window?

  8. A Lo says:

Great theme. However, 2 problems after installation: a) unable to play full-screen on Windows Media Player; b) Backlight setting (under WM6.5 Tools) no longer work.
